At this moment, he's kissing my Grandmother and hugging my Father. And there is a long line of old friends and family waiting to shake his hand and welcome him home.
I'll forever be grateful for having this amazing man in my life and I'm a better human because of his influence on me.

My Grandfather was a proud veteran. He served in the Air Force during World War II as a "Ball Turret Tail Gunner" with the 323rd Bomb Group, 453rd Bomb Squadron from 1941 to 1945.
